Beginning this year, VOEGELINVIEW began its transition to become more inclusive of arts, humanities, and book reviews. This process is still ongoing, but the transformation is occurring ahead of schedule. Also during this year, our journal launched a formal YouTube channel to preserve and promote the surviving audio, lectures, and interviews of Eric Voegelin. All the audio files housed in this journal’s website have been converted and uploaded to YouTube. This has also permitted us to upload the 2022 Eric Voegelin Institute webinar series and will continue to permit us to upload lectures, talks, and other media related content to Eric Voegelin, the Eric Voegelin Society, and the Eric Voegelin Institute.
Likewise, we are also now on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. Through these platforms we are able to network, expand, and promote our publications to the world at large. There is also a dedicated Facebook for the journal, as well as a public forum group. Follow to help grow and promote the love of the Western humanities tradition with insightful analysis in defense of liberty, the human soul, and opposition to tyranny and the destruction of the transcendental life—all things that honor the very spirit of our namesake Eric Voegelin.
We will also be launching a review podcast, in which our many book reviews published in our pages will be presented in podcast form for the digital world as a means of further digital growth, outreach, and journal recognition. It is important to remember that the fight for wisdom and enlightenment also depends on our readers, contributors, and supporters.
With support of the Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy, the University of Wisconsin Foundation – a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 39-0743975) – receives donations by credit card on behalf of the journal. If you would like to give a gift now, please go here and make sure you have selected the VoegelinView fund: secure.supportuw.org/give
You can alternatively support the Eric Voegelin Society which is also a 501(c)(3) organization (Tax ID 45-5508836). The Eric Voegelin Society, which publishes VOEGELINVIEW, can be supported through Nicholls State University by going here: https://nichollsfoundation.org/donate-now/
Make sure to write “Eric Voegelin Society” in the comments when providing a donation by credit card. Alternatively contact Dr. David Whitney at david.whitney@nicholls.edu for instructions of how to make a contribution by check.
