“Finding Philosophy” by Gary Watson
Gary Watson is provost professor emeritus of law and philosophy at the University of Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Washington and his PhD in philosophy from Princeton University. Prior to joining the faculty at USC, he taught at Reed College, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of California, Irvine, and the University of California, Riverside. His interest in concepts of legal responsibility target the relations between moral and criminal responsibility and the criminal law’s conceptions of moral agency. Watson was elected a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2014.
