Theories that posit truth-value gluts are now a well-established part of the philosophical landscape. The issue of whether any contradiction can be true has hardly been settled to everyone’s satisfaction, but the debate has now moved on to applications. Where, if anywhere, in the universe are contradictions to be met with? One obvious place to look for so extraordinary a phenomenon as a true contradiction is in theology.
