Job Description: 

The Institute of Philosophy at Ruhr University Bochum is seeking to fill a doctoral position (salary scale TV-L E13, 65%) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Albert Newen, Philosophy of Mind, starting in February or March 2026. The position is to be filled exactly for a three-year period. The position is intended for the completion of a dissertation with topic in the following research area “Ethics and Metaethics for Science and the Role of AI in Science and Society”.
